LOS ANGELES, Calif (January 5, 2012) Tomorrow, GRAMMY ® nominated female vocalist Natalie Grant will perform timeless classics from the 18th and 19th centuries on PBS' television special "PA'S FIDDLE." Taped at music city's historic venue, The Loveless Barn in Nashville, Tenn., Grant will sing alongside Americana's finest including Randy Travis, Ashton Shepherd, Ronnie Milsap, The Roys and Rodney Atkins. The unique event is slated to debut nationwide on June 2, 2012.
Based on the enduring American music played by the father of American author Laura Ingalls Wilder and written about in the beloved "Little House on the Prairie" books, the extraordinary concert also features a team of passionate producers including: former "Little House of the Prairie" cast member Dean Butler, executive producers Richard Okie, Tony Tiano and Tisha Fein, Randy Scruggs as Musical Director and directed by Ryan Polito. Additionally, Fletcher Foster is also serving as the Creative Consultant and Bonnie Garner as Talent Executive. Furthermore, a DVD and CD of "PA'S FIDDLE" will be offered as fund-raising premium gifts to PBS contributors.
A powerhouse vocalist, heart-gripping songwriter and charismatic performer, Natalie Grant has an unshakable determination to remind us of the simple significance of love, and the revolutionary power that it carries, as expressed on her latest project, Love Revolution. Released in August 2010, Love Revolution is the highest-selling debut of her career. As a Grammy Nominee, GMA Female Vocalist of the Year for four consecutive years (2006-2009) and the top-selling Adult Contemporary female solo artist in 2005, 2006 and 2008, Grant is among a select number of artists to have achieved a formidable foothold at mainstream media and radio. Despite these accomplishments, it is the message of the Gospel, and the revolutionary power of love it carries, that she waves as her banner and her hope. Beyond her artistry, Grant remains an outspoken advocate for victims of human trafficking through Abolition International, which she created in 2005. She balances all of these endeavors with her greatest calling-as a wife, and mother of three.
